A 22-year-old Saginaw man has died after being struck by a truck while riding a skateboard in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Davenport Avenue and No. Oakley Street in Saginaw. Emergency crews responded to the scene and the skateboarder died on scene.
The skateboarder has been identified as Trevion Wesley Harper. Investigators are working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The driver of the truck was a 39-year-old man from Warren. Police confirmed the driver was not injured in the accident.
