# High-speed crash in Dearborn injures several, one in critical condition
DEARBORN — A high-speed crash on Wednesday afternoon in Dearborn injured several people, with one passenger in critical condition.
The crash happened on Michigan Avenue and Jonathon Street according to Dearborn police. Three cars were involved in the incident.
Security footage from a local business captured the crash. The video showed a black vehicle plowing through and swiping the vehicle next to it. While that driver slows down, the black car speeds up.
"The Ford Explorer was on Jonathon and it was trying to make a left, and the Range Rover hit the car," said Kamal.
"It was pretty crazy, not going to lie, it was the first ever car accident I had ever seen, just car parts going everywhere," Kamal added.
Kamal G. shared with CBS News Detroit what happened that did not show on the security cameras. His account describes a Ford Explorer attempting to make a left turn on Jonathon Street when a Range Rover struck it.
Police say one passenger is in critical condition but that no one is facing a life-threatening injury.
It is unknown if any charges will be filed. The crash is still under investigation.
CBS News Detroit reporter Julia Avant reported on the story.
