Robert Allan Krueger, 87, died on May 9, 2026. He passed away peacefully at his home in Holland. The obituary was published by WHTC-AM/FM on May 15, 2026.

Krueger was born on November 23, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Holland. He is also survived by his son, Erik of Olive Branch, Mississippi. He has a daughter, Kathryn. He has two granddaughters, Elisabeth and Anna Thomashoff of Vienna, Austria.

Krueger served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He received a bachelor of arts degree in science and mechanical engineering. He also received a master of business administration degree. He acquired his pilot license in 1992. He flew his Cherokee 180 for a dollar hamburger at Gaston's Lodge on the White River in Arkansas. He enjoyed volunteering for Wings of Mercy in Kansas City, Kansas. He also volunteered at Evergreen Commons and Holland Hospital. He loved his daily walks to the lake.

A memorial gathering will be held at his home on Saturday, June 13, from 1 to 3. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to Hospice of Holland, Saugatuck Home Care Services and Evergreen Commons.
