One person is in critical condition and another is in custody after a shooting on Flint's north side Monday morning.
The shooting was reported at a residence on Dupont Street between Ridgeway and Parkway avenues around 10 a.m. on Monday, according to ABC12.
A victim fights for their life
The Flint Police Department says the injured person was rushed to an area hospital, where they were listed in critical condition Monday afternoon.
Authorities did not release the victim's name, age, or gender. Police also did not disclose the victim's current status beyond the critical listing.
Suspect taken into custody
Investigators arrested a suspect at the scene. Police did not release the suspect's name Monday because they had not yet appeared in court for arraignment.
Authorities provided no information about the circumstances leading to the shooting, a possible motive, or whether the suspect and victim knew each other before the incident.
The crime scene remained active at 2 p.m. Monday.
